Terms for Tuition, Room, and Board:
- Location: The clinic will be held @ St. John's University, St. JohnÕs University, 8000 Utopia Parkway, Queens, NY 11439. Local phone: (718) 990-2000. Directions to St. John's University
- REGISTER EARLY TO OBTAIN A SCHOOL ID CARD called a "StormCard." All Clinic participants must procure their StormCard to get on campus and to access campus facilities! It must be carried at all times. This entails sending your photo to the school beforehand and receiving a pass. Is this a hassle? Possibly however, it ensures on-campus and parking lot security. Please proceed as follows:
- (4) Four weeks before arriving, email a 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" passport-quality, Color, Digital HEAD SHOT (Shoulders to Head free of scarves, hats, headwear, sunglasses, eyeglasses, 3-D glasses, etc.) in .jpeg or .bmp file format, of yourself, to csevents@stjohns.edu.
- A scanned Passport Photo is preferred but it must be a clear shot with no airport markings.
- Note your first name, last name, and conference name in the email subject line, and also below, in the body of the email. For purposes of this pass; Everybody: Use VILLAGE PRODUCTIONS as the Conference Name!
- Attach the file containing your picture. Do Not cut and paste your photo into the body of the email. Send it as a .jpeg or .bmp attachment.
- For latecomers, the school will charge $10 when you arrive to take your picture and issue you an ID card.
- The school will charge registrants a $45 fee for lost or damaged StormCards.

- We are not allowed to bring the usual coffee, drinks, and snacks into the clinic. However, there are ample vending machines and multiple dining locations available for purchasing these items.
- Resident Rate includes all Saturday and Sunday classes. Resident students will receive a minimum of 10 hours professional class instruction including the Saturday night jam with the instructors. Registration includes Saturday night lodging plus (4) buffet-style meals (Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch).
- Full Commuter Rate includes all the benefits of Residential without Saturday night lodging.
- Early-Bird Rates are good until July 1, 2011. Beginning July 2, regular rates are in force.
- Partial Commuter Rates includes all of the Residential benefits on whatever day you register for, except lodging as follows:
- Saturday Commuter rate includes lunch, and dinner.
- Sunday Commuter rate includes breakfast and lunch. Sunday lodging is not available.
- St. John's University employee and on-campus student rate includes the entire clinic except room and board. When sending your check, include a photocopy of your St. John's University ID card.
- Students under the age of 18 must be housed with a paying adult; student or chaperone (guest) Contact Rod Johnston for more information.
- Non-student Guest Rates are available for the weekend (Saturday lodging plus (5) meals.)
- All dormitory rooms are single occupancy. Double occupancy is available on request. Towels, a pillowcase, flat sheet, fitted sheet, and a washcloth come as linen. All rooms are air-conditioned and elevators abound.
- All meals will be served in St. John's cafeteria. Vegetarian meals are available as part of the buffet. Cafeteria hours are breakfast: 7-9 am, Lunch: 11-2 pm, and Dinner 5-7 pm. Meals, that you have paid for, will be pre-programmed on your ID card.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on campus. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas outside of buildings.
- RV Hookups do not exist.
- Banjo setup will be available on Sunday. The fee is $30 per banjo to have your head, neck, intonation, and bridge adjusted by a technician. Please change strings and banjo heads before submitting your instrument to be adjusted. Since you will be without your banjo while it is being worked on, consider bringing a second banjo. Setup will be scheduled on a first come basis as registered.
